Lavenham beauty salon expands after moving into larger premises
A Lavenham beauty salon has moved into bigger premises in the village to give it space to grow and expand.
The Beauty Gallery in High Street is run by mother and daughter Mandy Painting and Victoria Strudwick.
The salon has already won awards from thebestof business website for customer reviews and satisfaction.
The owners say the new location will provide the salon with the means to grow and develop its services.
It offers a range of treatments, including electrolysis and light and micro-current skin technology.
“This will be the salon’s fifth and biggest move so far in the village,” said Mandy.
The business got a major marketing and social media boost after a former star of the BBC television series Dragon’s Den gave it a plug.
Business and retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis promoted it as part of his weekly Small Business Sunday initiative, which is aimed at helping small companies in the UK.
The Beauty Gallery’s Twitter account was retweeted by Theo to his 500,000 followers, which resulted in the business receiving a significant spike in activity on its website and social media platform.
Therapist and salon manager Victoria said they were planning a grand opening on Monday.
