Lavenham jewellers shines bright as business is shortlisted for national award




Company directors Jonathan and Yasmin Lambert are hoping to make a good impression with competition judges for their bespoke jewellery expertise.

The pair, who run Jonathan Lambert Jewellery in Lavenham, are one of only nine businesses in the UK to be shortlisted to win a national award.

Their business is a finalist in the bespoke jewellery retailer of the year category of the UK Jewellery Awards, to be announced in July.

Mrs Lambert was a jewellery designer for Garrard and Co in London and has been designing jewellery for more than 30 years.

Her clients have included British and foreign royalty as well as numerous celebrities.

Mr Lambert’s family have been jewellers and goldsmiths since 1795, and he is a past chairman of The National Association of Goldsmiths.

He said: “We are thrilled to be featured in these highly-coveted awards.”
