A choir had raised £1,000 for the charity Success After Stroke following a concert at Lavenham Village Hall.
Upbeat Contemporary Choir, led by Andrea King, raised the money at its concert, attended by 200 people. held last month.
And Nick Athorne, a member of the choir and a stroke survivor, presented a cheque to the charity at a meeting at the Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard recently.

The choir’s next concert later this year is in aid of a motor neurone disease charity. Tickets costing £6, including refreshments, are available from Andrea King on 01449 740601.
It meets Wednesday evenings, from 7pm until 9pm at Lavenham Primary School and new members are welcome.
