A woman from Glemsford won the ‘Brick-Off’, Lego building competition at the recent Brick City Exhibition in Bury St Edmunds.

Kristy Wood, 29, was crowned adult winner, in the Great Bury Brick-Off, held in Moyse’s Hall.

On Saturday, the Brick-Off champions were handed their prizes by Joanna Rayner, St Edmundsbury Borough Council’s portfolio holder for leisure and culture.

“Everyone who took part in the Brick-Off competitions did a wonderful job and our winners’ models are shining examples of what can be created using just Lego bricks,” said Mrs Rayner.

More than 100 people took part in the Brick-Off competitions.

Adult participants had to construct four models, three in 15 minute sessions based on set themes and one on a theme of their choosing in 30 minutes.
