There’s no hatred of the dreaded homework word here as children returned from the half-term holidays with incredible creations for a bug hotel competition.
Children and families at Pot Kiln Primary School in Great Cornard were set a project over the half term holiday to make a bug hotel. The project was aimed at inspiring the children to enjoy learning outdoors and starts a school initiative to develop outdoor learning, with plans to extend its wildlife areas.
“We have been overwhelmed by the thought, creativity and hard work which has gone into the projects,” said Early Years leader Michelle Wood. “I am sure the bugs and insects are going to be very happy with their new luxurious accommodation.”
