Investigation of serious assault in Sudbury renews appeal to trace man to help with police enquiries




A police appeal has been renewed to trace a man in connection with a serious assault, which took place at a club in Sudbury last summer.

Officers are keen to speak to the man pictured below, as the investigation continues into the incident at Infinity Nightclub in East Street on Sunday, July 14, at approximately 3am.

The victim – a 32-year-old man – was attacked whilst in the men’s toilets at the club, and was reportedly punched as many as 30 times.

Following the assault, the victim was subsequently taken to hospital, having sustained a fractured eye socket, a cut to his head and a gash to his lower lip, which required internal and external stitches.
