In the pink for charity

WALKERS were a blur of pink when they took to the streets around Sudbury recently to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

More than 80 people – most dressed in pink for the occasion – did the five-kilometre sponsored walk, which was organised by Mwah Gym fitness instructor Paul Warner, from Great Cornard.

“Some members of the gym, and their families, have been affected by breast cancer,” he said.

“I would like to thank everyone who helped to make this event so successful.”

The total raised has yet to be counted as money is still coming in for a monthly gym treadmill challenge, quiz night and a two-hour Zumba dance session.
