Illegal anglers at Rodbridge give the sport a bad name

Two anglers have been seen illegally fishing at Rodbridge four days after the end of the river season, reports Sudbury and Melford District Angling Association.

Anyone who witnesses illegal fishing or pollution should call the Environment Agency hotline on 0800 807060 immediately.

Day tickets for Kettlebaston Lake (from village only) are available from tackle shops and are not available on the bank.

Guest tickets are available for Boxford Pits and Starfield Pits from tackle shops.

All anglers fishing for specimen fish including bream at Rushbrook must use unhooking mats and all fish are to be weighed kneeling down over an unhooking mat.
