Around 800 people filled St Peter’s on Saturday for Sudbury Model Railway Club’s annual exhibition.
Peter Worton, the club’s exhibition manager and secretary, was delighted with the turnout, with funds raised being used to help fund the club.
The group had 13 lay outs on display as well as trade stalls.
Mr Worton said the lay out of the former Long Melford station was particularly popular as visitors could relate to it.
The owner of the former station building even attended, speaking to the creator of the replica Nigel Lock, the nephew of the station’s former signalman.
