PLANNING permission for Sudbury’s new health centre, costing £10 million, has been approved.
The development in Church Field Road, Chilton, was given the unanimous backing of Babergh District Council’s development committee earlier today.
It is hoped the decision will bring to a conclusion over 30 years of proposals for a new health facility in the town.
Construction of the part single and part two storey building, which will house the area’s health services under one roof, is expected to start in May next year.
