Haverhill man charged in connection in Newmarket crash which left two seriously injured

A Haverhill man has been charged in connection with a collision in Newmarket which left two people with serious injuries.

Jan Adamec, 40, of Shetland Road, has been charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

The incident happened on July 1 in Dullingham Road, at about 10.55pm. It involved a Ford Focus, a Vauxhall Astra and a BMW 320.

The drivers of the BMW and Astra suffered serious injuries and were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.

Mr Adamec remains in custody and is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
