Hartest Pre-School marks 20th anniversary with celebration picnic

A pre-school celebrated its 20th anniversary last weekend.

Hartest Pre-School, based in The Row in the village, organised a celebratory event in the grounds of the The Crown.

Past and present children and future pupils and their families were invited to celebrate with the pre-school.

People were able to take along their own picnics and get involved in games and face-painting, as well as enjoy a gallery of photographs taken over the last 20 years.

More than 50 families attended the event – with some people returning who are now in their mid-20s and who had attended the pre-school when they were just youngsters.

Megan Cross, manager of the pre-school, said the event was really successful and that staff were really pleased to see old faces, as well as ex-staff.
