Harry, 12, braving the shave for charity
Harry Freeman will soon be feeling the cold chill of winter that little bit more as he prepares to have his hair shaved off for charity.
The 12-year-old, from Turner Close in Sudbury, is hoping to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support through its ‘Brave the Shave’ campaign.
So far Harry has raised £63 of his £500 target on his online fundraising page and more than £100 in total.
The Year 8 pupil will be going bald for the charity on December 18 at Thomas Gainsborough School in Great Cornard, hoping to collect more money from watching staff and pupils .
His mother Helen Miller said: “He is raising money for the house charity and in memory of a loved one who recently died of cancer.”
