Halstead owner of dog that killed Dexter Neal, 3, re-bailed
A Halstead woman whose dog attacked and killed three-year-old Dexter Neal in August has been re-bailed by the police.
The boy died after being bitten by an American bulldog while visiting a friend’s house in Parker Way in the town.
The woman was first arrested for allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control, injuring a person and was bailed until October 19. Officers will now carry out further enquiries until December 19 when she will have to answer bail again.
