A man has been charged with resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty following an incident on George Street in Hadleigh on Saturday.
The incident happened around 7.30pm when a police officer was injured while making an arrest.
Twenty-two year-old Alexander Lant, of Meadows Way in Hadleigh, was arrested and has now been charged with resisting a constable in the execution of his duty.
He has also been charged with two other offences – criminal damage in George Street in Hadleigh on March 30, where windows were smashed, and threatening behaviour following an incident in Hadleigh on March 29.
He has been bailed to appear before Ipswich magistrates on April 26.
