THREE properties are opening their doors to the public to demonstrate better environmental practices.
They have been chosen, with 18 others across the county, by The Suffolk Green Buildings Network as examples of how to reduce costs and environmental impacts.
The Mill Green Brewery, in Mill Green, Edwardstone, will be open at 11am from Friday, September 9, to Sunday, September 11; a Victorian cottage, 21 Stoke Road, Nayland, is open at 11am and 2pm on Sunday, September 11; and 47 Edwin Panks Road, Hadleigh, will welcome visitors between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday, September 10.
Judy Terry, portfolio holder for Greenest County, said: “We want to encourage people to go and visit these homes and get ideas about how they can make their own homes more green.
