Great Cornard flower demonstration

A FLOWER demonstration is being held tonight in Great Cornard by the Sudbury Flower Club.

Sandra Price, from the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, will be doing a demonstration of seasonal flowers on the theme of Wouldn’t it be Lovely?

The flower club has recently been celebrating the first year of a new format and move to its current venue at the Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard.

Organiser Brenda Graham said: “The club is small and friendly and all members love working with flowers. Our objective is to develop our skills together so no-one will ever feel left behind. To this end we run many workshops where members can learn, practise and develop their own ideas. So far this year the club has had seven workshops with more planned.”

The demonstration on Thursday, June 14, will take place at the Stevenson Centre, in Stevenson Approach and will be held at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Entrance is £5 for non-members and includes a summer drink. For more information contact Brenda Graham on
