Great Cornard and Cavendish properties hit in spate of burglaries

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a spate of burglaries.

On Friday (October 2) it was discovered that a property in Great Cornard was broken into, along with several others.

Between 6.30pm and 7.50pm, a side door was forced open to gain entry to a property in Kings Meadow, Great Cornard.

The offenders stole a number of valuable items of jewellery, three iPhones, cash, a designer handbag and an iPad tablet computer.

Three further burglaries also took place.

The first, where a home in Pentlow Drive in Cavendish was entered between 4.15pm and 5pm, with a bank card and house keys being taken.

The second happened in a property on Barking Road in Barking between 7pm and 9.20pm, where cash and bank cards were stolen.

The third happened at a property in Semer near to Union Hill between 6.55pm on Thursday (October 1) and 4.30pm on Friday, (October 2), an eighteen carat gold bracelet and a ladies gold opal ring were taken.
