The organisers of Sudbury Fun Run and Walk last week presented the charities supported by this year’s event with cheques for £2,000 each at a ceremony at Sudbury Town Hall.

The three charities were Upbeat represented by Hilary Neeves, The Richmond Fellowship, represented by Matt Webb, and Funding Neuro represented by Anna and Louis Brookes.

Organising committee member Jonathan Price said: “We would very much like to thank all those who helped in their various capacities, whether as a marshal, a sponsor or by supplying goods and services, for example water for the participants, first aid or scaffolding at the finish to name but a few. I’m sure everyone knows who they are”
