A FREE cook book with recipes for healthy living has been published as part of a campaign by the NHS group Live Well Suffolk.
The book, which offers tips on planning low cost meals and avoiding temptations when shopping, has more than 20 recipes for healthy breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts and snacks.
All the recipes are also available to download online at www.livewellsuffolk.org.uk and members of the public are also encouraged to share their healthy recipes.
The Eat Well, Live Well cook book was collated by Live Well Suffolk’s dietitians Karen Davies and Heather Osborn. Krona Davies said: “We hope the recipe book will inspire people to try cooking healthier meals which can still be tasty. It’s so easy to go through life without really stopping to think about what we eat and we are trying to help people become more aware of how our food affects our body and state of mind.”
