Two business conferences are taking place in Sudbury this month.
The inaugural Sudbury Business Expo is taking place at Thomas Gainsborough School on April 28, from 4.30pm to 8pm.
Twenty businesses will be exhibiting, with networking and business seminars planned including a presentation on social media site LinkedIn. It is being officially opened by South Suffolk MP James Cartlidge.
Penny Wilby, owner of business website the bestofSudbury, hosting the event, said: “Speed networking will take place between the first two presentations. It’s a perfect way to grow contacts and develop new business relationships.”
Attendees need to book online at www.sudburybusinessexpo.co.uk for a free place.
On April 20, at The Delphi Centre in Newton Road, Babergh and Mid Suffolk district councils are inviting businesses to a free networking, skills and growth event, from 5pm to 7pm.
The Better for Business event is part of the councils’ Open for Business initiative to help firms understand what opportunities and support exist for businesses in relation to workplace pensions, HMRC changes and workplace wellbeing. Anyone interested in attending can turn up, but booking is preferred via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
