A flower festival at All Saints Church in Little Cornard at the weekend raised more than £2,000 for charity.

The church was decorated with flowers and quilts and there were plant and cake stalls and refreshments.

All of the proceeds will go to West Suffolk Hospital’s stroke unit and to supporting the church funds.

“We had brilliant weather which meant that we were busy on both days from 11am to 4pm, and the plant stall was also a blooming success,” said church warden Brenda Pentney.
