A HADLEIGH architects firm is celebrating after being recognised for its craftsmanship and design excellence with a handful of awards at an industry ceremony.
Wincer Kievenaar Architects enjoyed a successful night at the 2011 Suffolk Association of Architects (SAA) Awards held in Ipswich, walking away with five top honours.
Philip Branton, a partner at the firm, which employs 21 people, said: “The SAA Awards set the standard for architecture in Suffolk and we’re delighted to be recognised with five awards this year.
“I was particularly pleased that the diversity of our work was recognised, from bespoke design to refurbishment.”
The company, which was set up in 1980, was honoured for its work, including a bespoke extension to a house in Sudbury, a residential care home and an office refurbishment.
It was also given a craftsmanship award for the development of four new-build contemporary houses.
