A local law firm is to hold its 10th annual charity bike ride later this year.

Holmes and Hills solicitors, which has offices in Sudbury and Halstead, is holding its annual bike ride in aid of Cancer Research UK on September 13.

Last year’s race raised more than £6,500 with more than 260 local cyclists taking part.

“It is a fun event for all the family and we are hoping to beat the impressive £6,500 we raised last year,” said partner Rebecca Mason ahead of the event.

“We have a number of businesses from across the county who come to support the event and we hope we will get a great turn out again this year.”

The event starts and finishes at the Halstead office in Trinity Street, with three routes to choose from – 11 miles, 26 miles or 53 miles.

The ride is open to anyone including individuals, families and business teams. There will be a free barbecue available for all riders after the cycle.
