Firefighters extinguish car blaze in Sudbury

Firefighters were called to reports of a car on fire on the A134 in Sudbury in the early hours of this morning.

A fire engine from Sudbury was sent to the incident at 5.13am and found one vehicle to be ‘well alight’.

They used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

The crew was back at base at 6.04am.
