Fete celebrates Sudbury primary school's 50th anniversary
A Sudbury primary school has held a special fete to mark its 50th anniversary.
Staff and students, both past and present, came together at Woodhall Primary School to celebrate the landmark anniversary, with a celebratory cake cut by town mayor Sue Ayres and headteacher Matthew Fuller.
Mr Fuller said: “We would like to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate Woodhall’s 50 years and make the anniversary of our wonderful school so memorable.
“Members of the school community, both past and present, had a lovely evening sharing stories and memories. Here’s to the next 50 years.”
Other attractions included a display from the Phoenix Marchers, bouncy castles, a fire engine and a petting zoo.
