Fatal road crash appeal

POLICE are appealing for witnesses as they continue to search for information into a crash in which a motorcyclist was killed.

The collision took place at around 2.50pm on Saturday, when two motorbikes, which had been travelling in a line of three on the A134 from Bury St Edmunds to Sudbury, left the road at Cockfield.

Dovvom Torres, 30, an airman who worked at RAF Lakenheath, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he received treatment for his injuries.

Police believe the driver of a blue hatchback vehicle with blacked out windows, travelling in the opposite direction at the time, may have seen the crash.

Any witnesses should contact Pc Allie Cotton on 01473 613500.
