Local fashion retailer Javelin is to open its new store in Sudbury on November 14.

The Grand Opening of the company’s new fashion shop for men takes place at 9.30am at 38 Market Hill, opposite the firm’s Anchor store, which was closed after the recent fire.

Coffee and champagne will be served throughout the day.

The shop will have its own café, serving award winning Paddy and Scott’s coffee.

It is hoped the store opposite, in the former Anchor pub, will be reopened soon, after being damaged in the fire on September 6,

However, the reopening has been delayed after asbestos was found in the building.

Javelin will be holding a large stock clearance sale in store to celebrate its reopening.
