Farmer shot at by the passenger of a passing vehicle

A man was shot with a paintball gun by a passenger of a passing vehicle.

The man was working in a field in Great Waldingfield when he was shot, causing bruising.

The incident happened next to the junction of Lavenham Road and the B1115 at approximately 9am on Sunday.

The offender, who was wearing goggles, was a passenger in a Blue Honda Civic Coupe, which was last seen heading towards Little Waldingfield.

The car had tinted back windows and a spoiler.

It is being linked to a similar incident near Stowmarket Golf Centre at 9.30am on the same day.

A passenger in a blue Honda Civic, which contained at least three men, was seen to shoot at people.

Anyone who witnessed either incident, or has information about the owner of the vehicle, should call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting SU/15/514.
