The family of a Stowmarket teenager who died after his motorbike was involved in a collision have paid tribute to a ‘kindhearted young man loved by everyone’.

Robert Quinn, 19, of Walton Close, died after his Suzuki motorbike was involved in a collision with a VW Passat on the B1115 between Great Finborough and Hitcham on Friday, July 10 at about 7.45pm.

In a tribute released through Suffolk Police, his family said: “Rob was a kindhearted young man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He was taken from us far too young and under tragic circumstances.

“He had a very promising future ahead of him and he has made us immensely proud.

“We are very touched by all the messages and flowers everyone has contributed in memory of Rob.

“He has touched the lives of so many through his selflessness and generosity. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.”

The driver of the VW Passat, a woman aged in her 20s, sustained minor injuries including bruising and grazes.

Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who saw either of the vehicles before the crash should call the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting reference CAD 414 of July 10.
