A MASSIVE mural depicting scenes from Buckingham Palace and featuring the Queen was the centrepiece for an art exhibition which took place in Polstead at the weekend.
The 12th annual art show was organised by the Polstead Art Group and the picture, made up of 15 panels painted by individual members of the group, measures a whopping seven-and-a-half feet by six feet.
Using a montage of different photographs, the group assembled the various pictures together and then the artists replicated the photographs using either oil or acrylic paint.
Art group secretary Pat Brown said: “The finished result is extraordinary.
“Although it is painted by 15 different people, it all fits together beautifully and the overall effect is stunning.”
