Elderly driver taken to hospital after crash in Sudbury
An elderly man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a telegraph pole on Woodhall Road, Sudbury.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received the emergency 999 call today (Monday, 24th October) at 1.18pm and sent a rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew, and ambulance officer to assist.
Within four minutes the first clinician was on scene to treat the man, believed to be in his 70s, for complaints of neck pains and a head injury.
After receiving treatment at the scene he was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further care in a stable condition.
