Early morning call to pet food factory fire in Sudbury


Three fire crews were called to a pet food factory in Sudbury in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday June 15.

Crews were called to Nestle Purina Pet Care on the Chilton industrial estate at 1.55am.

On arrival, firefighters found that the fire in the internal light fitting was already out.

They made sure the building was safe and the fire had not spread.

The incident was under control by 2.50am.
