Drivers to be summonsed for filming A14 crash scene

Suffolk police have warned drivers to keep off their phones and electronic devices while driving after some were caught filming a collision between two lorries on the A14 this morning.

Officers have warned that nine drivers are likely to be sent summonses after filming while passing the scene of the crash during this morning’s rush hour.

Seven are to be summonsed for not being in proper control of their vehicle after using devices including an iPad to record footage of the crash scene and two more will be summonsed for using a mobile phone at the wheel.
