Driver airlifted to hospital

A man was taken to hospital with neck injuries following a two-car collision in Hintlesham.

Emergency services were called to the A1071 shortly after 9.30am this morning after a an Audi A4 was involved in a crash with a Ford Ranger.

Fire crews from Hadleigh and Ipswich needed to use cutting equipment to free the male driver of the Audi. He was then taken to Ipswich Hospital by air ambulance.

Two others were treated by paramedics for minor injuries at the scene.
