Drink driver disqualified

A drink driver from Bures has been banned from driving for two years.

James Salt, 40, of Lamarsh Road, pleaded guilty to driving with 97 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Ballingdon Street, Sudbury, on June 16. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

At Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, Salt was fined £650 and told to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £65.
