A 52-YEAR-OLD woman accused of drink driving will stand trial next month.
Alison Horne, from Upper Street in Stanstead, appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with driving a Mercedes on April 27 while twice the legal drink-drive limit.
The court heard that Horne, who denies the charge, gave a reading of 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Horne was released on unconditional bail and will return to Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 8.
