The man is described as being of slim build. He was wearing a green and black striped hooded top with the hood up, black trousers and light coloured trainers.

Two 11-year-old boys also reported being followed by a man as they were walking along The Drift at around the same time.

The man is described as 5ft 11in tall and of average build. He was wearing a black hooded top and black trousers.

A police spokeswoman said additional patrols were being carried out in the area by the Safer Neighbourhood Team.
