An investigation into the death of a 19-year-old former Sudbury Upper School pupil is making progress, according to police.
Matthew Seddon died from multiple injuries on the A33 in Reading on February 11 when his red Ford Fiesta collided with the central reservation.
He was being pursued by six police cars, including a dog van and an armed response unit, after failing to stop. He was thrown from his car in the collision and hit by at least one vehicle.
A spokeswoman for the Independent Police Complaints Commission, which is examining the circumstances surrounding his death, said: “The investigation into the road traffic incident in which Matthew Seddon died is progressing well.
“Our investigators continue to analyse technical evidence and CCTV footage of the incident and have taken accounts from a number of witnesses following an appeal in February.”
Mr Seddon’s partner, Bryony De’Morgan, was expecting a child at the time of his death.
