Laptop and money stolen in burglaries

Police believe two house burglaries in Hadleigh over the Easter weekend may be linked.

The first break-in took place in Castle Road between 10am last Friday and 8pm on Easter Monday.

Burglars broke into the house and searched the property before escaping with a Toshiba laptop, perfume and jewellery.

The second burglary occurred in Ramsey Road between 9am on Good Friday and 8pm last Monday.

On this occasion, the burglars searched the house before making off with cash.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said officers thought the break-ins may be linked.
