THIEVES stole cash from a 77-year-old woman’s handbag in Sudbury.
The theft took place between 11.35am and 11.45am on Thursday after a man in a chemists on Market Hill asked the woman for information about a product before walking off with another man.
The woman then found that cash she had put in a envelope was missing.
The man who spoke to her is described as white, in his mid to late 20s, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build and with brown hair. He was wearing jeans and a light blue shirt.
His accomplice is described as in his mid to late 20s, of similar height and build, with dark brown short hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket and jeans. Both men were said to be well dressed.
