Sudbury’s first green fair is set to take place at Northcroft Social Club on Saturday, October 18.
Organised by 18-year-old Emily Adams, the event promises live music, entertainment and a selection of locally-made cakes.
The Sudbury teenager, who hopes to make the green fair an annual event, said it was an exciting project to be a part of.
“Being green has been a passion of mine after studying biology and chemistry at A-level,” she said.
“I wanted to start making a difference in my hometown in a positive, relaxed, and fun way.”
The last green fair held in Hadleigh Guildhall in March was a resounding success.
“We have not held one in Sudbury before, but I am sure it will go well with the fantastic cakes on sale, face-painting and raffle, as well as brilliant bands and a drinks bar,” said Emily.
