There are delays on roads across Norfolk and Suffolk this morning after a series of crashes.

Police are currently on the scene of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the A11 between Wymondham and Mulbarton.

Officers were called shortly after 7am this morning, Wednesday March 9.

The southbound carriageway on the A11 at Mulbarton has been closed, whilst emergency services deal with the incident and is likely to remain that way for several hours.

The A14 near Newmarket was blocked earlier after a car hit the central reservation at around 6.30am

The incident took place at junction 37 and lane three of the carriageway was closed so debris could be removed. There were no injuries.

Separately, a lorry has broken down at junction 36 of the A14 on the eastbound carriageway. The incident is creating delays.

There has also been a crash on the A47 Tuns Road near Swaffham in Norfolk.

Traffic is queuing for a mile after the crash involving a car and a cement mixer.

Police are warning motorists to drive to the road conditions and have highlighted large pools of standing water, particularly on the A14.
