Court clears man of sex offences

A man has been cleared of a string of sex offences against a young boy.

Timothy Wright, of Cherrytree Road, Great Cornard, was cleared by jurors of seven offences at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday.

The 51-year-old was cleared of four counts of indecently assaulting a boy aged under 14, as well as one count of rape and two counts of gross indecency.
