Colchester Pipes and Drums lead Sudbury Remembrance Parade
Festivals of remembrance took place throughout the region on Sunday to commemorate Remembrance Day.
In Sudbury a parade led by the Colchester Pipes and Drums marched from the Town Hall to St Gregory’s Church where a service of remembrance was held.
Wreaths were laid at the town’s war memorial outside the church.
The Great Cornard Parade was led by the Phoenix Community Group with a service held at St Andrew’s Church.
As well as veterans and serving members of the British and US armed forces the parades were attended by members of the Royal British Legion, local dignitaries, councillors, scout and cadet troops and other local organisations and individuals.
