Organiser John Walker from the Monks Eleigh Bygone Collectors Club said the ninth annual classic motorcycle event topped all previous years in terms of numbers.

He said: “This year was the best one ever. We had about 560 visitors and 400 motorbikes there, from pre- and post-war models to the classic 1960’s motorcycles. A busy day was had by all.”

The show was held at the British Legion Hall in Cordell Road and money raised from the day will go to the British Legion and the charity, St Nicholas Hospice Care. The best motorcycles, including bikes with side cars, were judged in the afternoon.
