Church concert at All Saints hits the right notes for charity

An evening of music has hit the right notes after helping to raise hundreds of pounds for a charity caring for those in the final chapters of their lives.

The Lonnie Donegan and Skiffle Tribute Concert, featuring the Black Diamonds, filled Sudbury’s All Saints Church, with tuneful tones raising £250 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

The event, which was well supported by the 90 people who attended, also raised the same amount for the church.

“We are so grateful to the All Saints Church for organising and supporting the concert, said St Nicholas Hospice Care Community Fundraiser George Chilvers.

“It was a wonderful evening and the money they have raised will help us to continue caring for those in the final chapters of their lives.”
