THREE churches will be visited by the Colchester Chamber Choir this weekend.
The choir, which was established two years ago, will be performing 50-minute recitals called A Glimpse of Heaven in a bid to raise funds for various church projects.
Roderick Earle, an opera singer who directs the group, said: “We have offered to perform without charge so that each church can use our concert to raise money for their own funds or charities.”
On Saturday, March 3, the choir will be at St Peter’s Church in Boxted from 2.30pm. The following day, it will perform at St Mary the Virgin in Great Henny at 2.30pm, and at St Mary’s Church in Bures at 5.30pm.
