Chef at Bildeston Crown celebrates top food rating accolade from AA Hospitality Awards
The Bildeston Crown is celebrating after winning a prestigious food rating award.
Chef and patron Chris Lee was recognised as a 3 AA Rosettes chef at the annual AA Hospitality Awards held in London’s Grosvenor House.
It is the third time that Chris has won this sought-after status. Rosettes by the AA are awarded to the chef and not the restaurant.
Chris won his first rosette in 2007 and then won a second in 2014.
He and his wife Hayley have run The Bildeston Crown independently since 2015.
Chris said: “I can’t deny it, to have 3 AA Rosettes once more is simply amazing.
“Food is my passion and my life and this award means a great deal to all of us who have worked hard to ensure that The Bildeston Crown is known far and wide as a destination for great locally-sourced food and attentive service.”
He added: “It may seem as though I keep letting these rosettes slip through my fingers but now that the Bildeston Crown is our very own business, I intend holding on to the three of these rosettes very tightly indeed.”
