A housing developer raised hundreds of pounds in aid of charity at a recent launch event in Long Melford.

Kier Living Eastern donated £400 to The British Heart Foundation, having sold cupcakes and treats at its new development site.

“It was wonderful to welcome everyone to Elms Croft and raise money for such an amazing charity at the same time,” said David Thomas, sales and marketing director.

“We will be supporting the British Heart Foundation for the next two years and we have many more fundraising and awareness events planned.”

The charity provides information and support for people diagnosed with a heart condition, while funding research into the disease.
